'Epiphanies' ratings hold steady
WEDNESDAY - JANUARY 25, 2006
After falling to season lows in its second week of new episodes, The SCI FI Channel's Friday night block of original programming leveled off -- and bounced back a little -- the night of January 20.
Stargate SG-1 kicked off the night at 8 p.m. Eastern/Pacific with "Ripple Effect," earning a 1.8 average hosuehold rating. This is an increase of one-tenth of a ratings point from the previous week.
Stargate Atlantis followed at 9 p.m. with the U.S. premiere of "Critical Mass." The episode also earned a 1.8 rating, bouncing back two-tenths of a point from the previous week's episode.
The two Stargate series also saw gains in key demographics, including adults age 25 to 54 and men 25 to 54.
Battlestar Galactica anchored the night at 10 p.m. "Epiphanies" built on its lead-in to earn a 1.9 rating, holding even from the previous week and landing in the network's top-rated spot once again.
The shows earned ratings of 1.0, 0.8, and 0.5, respectively, for their late-night reruns of these episodes.
